My grandfather's Oil Paint

Ishani.

Mexican painter, meditation monk, architect and awkward winker.

My approach to painting began as a child, when I found a box of oils from my grandfather in the memories room.

There, my fascination for art begins.
I used to paint watching art tv shows (yes, I meant Bob Ross) and listening to my unopened parents' classical music records.

In each stage of my life, painting has made me breath, helped me to communicate and spread emotions, and sowed new ideas in the awareness of the spectator.

Inspired by Vincent Van Gogh, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Gustav Klimt, Hilma af Klint, Edward Hopper ... among many other teachers, I travel unstoppably with my cup of coffee in one hand and my bag of notebooks, brushes, oil paintings and watercolors in the other, focused on discovering the Universe inside, the non linear time, and show it to the world with my palette of romantic colors.

I’ve participated in contests, collaboration with other artists, published on art magazines, taught workshops, auctions in galleries and sold my art in many countries around the world as Canada, USA, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, UK and China

My art gos beyond of what I think I know.
